Privacy

It would be ironic to track you here, so we keep it minimal.

• No accounts, no ad trackers, no analytics cookies.
• Your route is not stored by us. The site is static. When you search, your browser sends the place names to Photon (komoot) for geocoding and the coordinates to the FOSSGIS OSRM routing server, and loads map tiles from OpenFreeMap. Those services receive your IP address and query under their own privacy policies.
• Hosting. Cloudflare serves the site and may process standard request logs (IP, user agent) for security and delivery.
• Share links contain only a rounded camera count and distance, never your addresses.
• Address lookups for full street addresses go through our own small function to the US Census Geocoder (with OpenStreetMap Nominatim as a fallback). Lookups are cached by query text only and never tied to you.
• Donations are processed by Stripe on Stripe's own page. We never see your card. Donations are not tax-deductible.
• Outbound brand links may later carry affiliate tracking set by those companies.
